Hey there! 👋
I’m Kayla Glossip. I am a wife, mom, teacher-turned-counselor, and big fan of all things Crane Elementary! I’ve been married for over 20 years to my husband Josh, and I am a proud mom who spends a lot of time cheering from the sidelines at my kid’s games.
Before stepping into the role of school counselor, I spent 12 plus years teaching across several elementary grade levels, and now, I’m super excited to be Crane Elementary’s new counselor! 🎉
This blog is just a fun little space for me to share updates, tips, and info about what’s going on in the world of school counseling here at Crane. I hope it becomes a place where we can collaborate, support one another, and stay connected as we work together for our awesome students.
I’ve lived in this area my whole life and truly love being a part of this community. Crane feels like home. That is because it is home. 💛
Thanks for stopping by!
A few fun (and totally real-life) facts about me:
🏡 I’ve lived in this area my whole life, so Crane isn’t just where I work, it’s truly home.
👩👧👦 Being a mom is my greatest joy. My kids keep me humble, laughing, and constantly on the go (usually to a game or practice!).
✏️ Teaching will always be a part of who I am. I still get excited about new school supplies and classroom bulletin boards.
🌟 I’m passionate about helping kids feel seen, heard, and supported—and that’s what this blog (and my role) is really all about.
☕ Can’t start the day without coffee – like, don’t even try.
